WAPA Picnic Fly-out Sunday Aug. 19

George Clark writes: … The annual WAPA fly-out picnic will be held on the planned rain date - Sunday August 19th. 11:00 AM until the food runs out.

If you are flying in, note that you'll be sharing the airspace with the annual micro-Jet rally. Expect possible delays while the jets land and clear the runway. The "air-boss" should let you know on unicom once the runway is clear.

The salary pilots make is another thing I like. They make more money than they know what to do with. This is because most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots don't because they know how easy it is. --5th grade student
