FAA plans TFRs over NYC for the next 3 weeks

George Clark writes: … Heads up! FAA has issued a NOTAM from this Tuesday Sept. 18th through Friday October 5th to cover the U.N. General Assembly. In addition, the President will be visiting from Monday the 24th through Wednesday the 26th. So expect the large TFR that accompanies him on his travels.

The TFR's are already up on the FAA TFR page, but be sure to check with FSS - the FAA Web is not an official source. So far 3 TFR's 7/7470, 7/7462 and 7/6723 are posted. Subject to Change!

Update: 9/19 More posted: 7/7578 and a new one for Morristown NJ (MMU) - 7/7605 reclassifying the airspace as "National Defense Airspace" with lots of restrictions. Update 9/20 7/7642 and 7/7624
