WAPA Announces Flight Training Scholarship

The Worcester Area Pilots Association announces the opening of the application period for a flight training scholarship for future pilots in the greater Worcester area. Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2005. Details of the scholarship rules and procedures can be found in the following document: Scholarship Procedures and copies of the application are here: Scholarship Application The scholarship is offered to students between the ages of 16 to 21 who live within a 25 mile radius of Worcester.

The actual value of the scholarship awards will be determined by the WAPA Scholarship committe at the close of the application period. The scholarship will reimburse 1 hour of flight training expenses for each 2 hours of training received.
