A10 Thunderbolt drops practice bomb at BDL

George Clark writes: And we worry about flour bombing contests… An A-10 Thunderbolt with the Air National Guard managed to drop a practice bomb on the runway at BDL today, delaying flights for 20 minutes. It was a dummy bomb, but did contain a shotgun shell as a noise-maker, so they had to use caution as they cleared the runway. The Hartford Courant has the story (link offline)
