This allows you to flag other users as friends or foes. Any comments posted by friends will be moderated up in your view of the story, and foes will be moderated down. This helps bubble comments from friends to the top on an active topic.
So, how do I make someone a friend or foe? First, you need to be signed in, and they have to have posted a reply to a story on the web. When you view the story and the replies, there will be a little smiley face next to each comment author. Click the smiley and choose friend or foe.
Along the top bar of each story is a small printer icon and a small envelope icon. These allow you respectively to view a printer friendly version of the story, or to email the story to a friend.
This allows you to comment on other users moderation efforts. If someone moderates a posting as good or bad, and you agree or disagree, you can so indicate. It will add weight to the opinions of the person who your are meta-moderating.
There are now clearly visible tabs along the top of various pages, improving navigation.
There is a revised "Navigation" box on the left side of the page. In there is an indented list under the heading of "you". This gives you easy access to your own preferences.
There is finally a "Logout" menu pick, so you can log out without navigating through several layers of menus.
The user registration process is improved. You can now select email options right from the signon screen.
The three sections of the WAPA website: Articles, Features and HitchARide, are now color-coded. Currently all stories show up on the untitled main index page.
I'm sure that there are a number of other improvements along the way that I have not found yet. And again, if you have questions, send them to feedback@worcesterapa.org
