WAPA Meeting - Jonathan Wood featured speaker.

George Clark writes: … We are pleased to announce that the April 19th WAPA meeting will feature local pilot and guest speaker Jonathan Wood.

  • Wednesday April 19th
  • Worcester Airport main terminal.
  • 6:30 PM.

Last year, Jonathan had a mid-air collision shortly after departure from Minute Man (6B6) while enroute to Bar Harbor, Maine (BHB) in his Cessna 172. Thankfully he survived the incident without any injuries. He has given a lot of thought to the events leading up to the accident, his own reaction immediately after it happened, and possible ways to avoid a repeat. He will also show some interesting slides that illustrate the motivation that got him into flying.

We plan to send out for Pizza for this meeting. Please let us know if you plan to attend so that we can get a headcount for the pizza order. We hope that you can join us for this most interesting presentation.

Note that this is not a safety seminar and will not qualify for wings credit. Parking is free. Take a ticket, and use it to open the gate on the way out.
