FAA TO ESTABLISH TFR OVER NEW LONDON ON WEDNESDAY May 23rd

Chris Kosak writes: … The FAA has issued a notam restricting flight inthe area during President Bush's planned visit on Wednesday, May 23. There will be a large 30-nautical-mile-radius temporary flightrestriction (TFR) centered on the GON VOR's 331-degree radial at 2.4 miles, extending up to Flight Level 180. It will be in effect from 10:05 a.m. local until 4:10 p.m. local on Wednesday. Also, there will be a smaller 10-nm-radius GA no-fly zone in effect within the larger TFR during that time frame.
