AOL Blocking WAPA E-Mail
Updated 11/30/06: We've been approved for the AOL "white list". Hopefully we won't be blocked again unless somehow SPAM starts getting through our servers, or if AOL members report our legitimate e-mail as SPAM.
Updated 11/29/06: As of around 6am this morning, the block appears to have been lifted and email has gone through. I'll keep the AOL subsribers informed on any further issues.
George Clark writes: … It appears that either someone accidentally or intentionally flagged e-mail from WAPA as SPAM, or we've crossed some volume of e-mail. But the
aol.com and
netscape.com domains are now blocking our e-mail.
I've applied to AOL for white-list status as a volume e-mailer.
Please if anyone is unhappy with the volume of e-mail from WAPA, let me know and we will gladly remove you from the lists. At this point all e-mail to AOL and Netscap accounts is blocked until we resolve this issue with AOL. So if you are missing recent e-mail about upcoming WAPA events and are an AOL or Netscape e-mail customer, this is the explanation.
