Royal Griffin wrote in to point out the 2005 Simsbury Airport fly-in and to ask for volunteers to help.
This year's Simsbury Airport (4B9) FLY-IN on Sunday Sept 25th promises to be our best yet. Every year we have expanded our activities, improved the food service, and brought in more airplanes. Last year over 5,000 attended , making the Simsbury Fly-In the largest in the Northeast. However, as a flying club we simply cannot do this within our own membership. We need your help as a volunteer for part, or all of the day. Over 100 volunteers are needed to fill our fly-in workforce. Will you help? For planning purposes, we need to hear from you by Sept 1st !!!I missed the deadline for this notice, but if you are interested it might not be too late. And it's a good event to put on the calendar.
