MAC releases 2004 Based Aircraft Report

Gregg Andrews wrote in to report on the new MAC 2004 Airport Ranking, which was sent to Airport Managers in Massachusetts.

The original report was attached to a message from Bob Mallard, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission.

Attached is a revised list of all public-use airports shown in descending order of the most registered aircraft. This list has been updated per final MAC registration numbers for 2004, and it has been expanded to include every public-use facility (including 2 SPBs) in Massachusetts.

It's an interesting report. Take a guess on the poll on the right before you read the report. Can you guess which airport had the most based aircraft? How about which large airport had (count'em now) only ONE based aircraft?

Here are the results from the original poll. Did you guess correctly?
