In Memoriam: Leo "Buddy" Comeau

Andy Davis asked that we pass along the following sad news:
It is with deepest regret to announce the passing of Worcester Airport Operations Shift Manager Leo "Buddy" Comeau. Buddy suffered a heart attack last week from which he never recovered. Buddy was a 40 year veteran of Massport, spending the past 10 years at Worcester Regional Airport.

Arrangements are as follows:
  • Wake - Tuesday from 3 PM to 8 PM at O'brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St, South Boston Ma 02127
  • Funeral Service - Wednesday morning 10 AM at Gate Of Heaven Church, 615 E 4th St, South Boston, Ma 02127
  • Burial will be at the Bourne National Veterans' Cemetery Connery Avenue Bourne, Ma 02532
NOTE: Please confirm all times and addresses in Monday's Boston Herald, Boston Globe or Cape Cod Times.

Loving father of Leo V. III, James F. Comeau and his wife Stacey, Michelle Comeau, and David Comeau, all of Centerville. Proud grandfather of Breigha E. Comeau. Dear brother of Ronald Comeau and his wife Beth, Alan Comeau and his wife Heather, Sharon Ponte and her husband Joel, Irene “Cookie” Comeau, Douglas Comeau, Lorraine Lynch and her husband Robert, Nancy Mickiewicz and her husband Michael, and Christopher Comeau. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and his dear friend Ryan. Funeral from the O’Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SO. BOSTON, on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 3:00-8:00 P.M. Interment VA National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Proud member of the A.A.A.E. and the Snow Symposium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Buddy’s memory to the NOAH Shelter, 460 West Main St., Hyannis, MA, 02601.
