There were some questions that came up during the meeting:
How do I find out more about the new Wings Program?
Go to the FAA FAASTeam web site. http://www.faasafety.gov/spans/
Where do I find out about the Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS)?
ASRS is online at http://asrs.arc.nasa.gov/ Have a look at the "Callback" newsletter while you are there, and print out one of the ASRS incident report forms to keep in your flight bag.

Yikes! How could anyone ignore that racket - even when preoccuppied with landing a plane. I'll bet that the grinding, crunching noise of an airplane belly sanding down a runway surface got the pilots' attention!
