Last issue of NASA ASRS Callback mailed

George Clark writes: ... I've had a subscription to NASA's Aviation Safety Reporting System's monthly newsletter Callback for many years. It was free, and only required a submission to the system to get the subscription. Budget pressures have won out, and after nearly 29 years, NASA will cease printed publication with the April 2008 Issue 328. This may seem like late news, but the last 6 issues just arrived in the mail along with a notice of the end of publication. Cost of publishing and distributing the newsletter was nearly $250,000/year.

Callback will continue, but in electronic form with a E-mail Callback notice. Here are some URLs.

• Online search tool (Did you know there were 76 reports for ORH in the database?)
• Subscribe to the E-mail notifications
• Online filing of safety reports And you can still get immunity!
