Barany chair at Nov. 1 WAPA Meeting, and TFR's around!

George Clark writes: … The next WAPA Meeting will be a FAA Safety Seminar. The seminar will cover Spatial Disorientation and attendees will get a chance in the Barany Chair. If you have not had an opportunity for a ride in the chair, it's an interesing experience, and a good opportunity to experience disorientation and vertigo first hand. The meeting will be a the ORH Terminal. Refreshments will be available at 6:30 pm, and the seminar starts at 7. (For more information on the Barany Chair see Wikipedia:Barany_chair and a very detailed look at the NASA Web of Life)

Also, TFRs have started popping up a bit more frequently, so pay close attention. It's going to be a long political season I'm afraid. There is a large Presidential movement TFR near Philadelphia planned for Monday the 29th. ( TFR:7_2034 ) And three smaller ones ( TFR:7_1913 )near Poughkeepsie and Newburgh NY on the 28th and 29th. Check out the FAA TFR page at http://tfr.faa.gov/ but also check with FSS, as it's the only official source.
