AOPA Expo at Hartford next week

George Clark writes: … AOPA Expo comes to Hartford next week. Richard Gammon reminded everyone on Unicom today that AOPA has published arrival procedures for both Brainard Airnav:HFD, and Bradley Airnav:BDL. Transportation is provided from both airports. It's not the OSH arrival, (no IFR I Follow Railroads you have to track a VOR!) but should still be challenging enough, especially during peak times.

If you are considering flying in, drop by the WAPA meeting this Thursday evening, the 4th, and we can review the procedures and talk about flying out in a group. Parking is $45 at the two primary airports and space is expected to be limited, so "plane pooling" will make sense. Parking is $20 and $25 at Windham Airnav:IJD and Simsbury Airnav:4B9 respectively. All airports require you to bring your own tie-downs.

I've flown every seat on this airplane, can someone tell me why the other two are always occupied by idiots? --Don Taylor
