18th Annual Simsbury Airport Fly-In Sunday 9/21 2003
Royal Griffin called last night to tell me that The 18th annual Simsbury Airport Fly-In will be held on Sunday September 21st. The announcement at AeroVents.com states that the fly-in "will be presented by the Simsbury Flying Club and the EAA chapter 324 at the Simsbury Airport, 94 Wolcott Rd, Simsbury Ct, 06070, Simsbury Connecticut. The event will commence at approximately 0830 21 Sept 2003, with a rain date of 28 Sept 2003.Antique, classic, war bird and experimental aircraft will be on display and judged, with awards in 14 categories. Also featured will be: parachute demonstrations, antique auto show, exhibits, and displays, fly market, food and activities for young and old. FUN & FREE for the whole family.
Sounds like it is going to be a great time. Hopefully we won't need our Rain Date for the Spencer Young Eagles day.
