Young Eagles September 20^th

Hello WAPA Members! We need your help at the upcoming Young Eagles day in Spencer on Saturday September 20^th. Rain Date is Sunday the 21^st. We need:

• EAA Members to fly Young Eagles
• Other WAPA Members to assist with ground operations
• Volunteers to put up the Announcement Poster - SpencerYoungEagles.pdf
• Everyone to pass the word to any youth groups, friends or relatives that might be interested.

We are requiring that anyone unfamiliar with Spencer have a short field checkout with Gregg Andrews. Gregg has generously volunteered to provide his instruction time free in support of the event. Spencer is 1920 Feet!

For more information contact Jack Kvalita via e-mail or call him at [ ].The event starts at 9:00 AM. We need WAPA Members there by 8:30 AM. There are some changes for this time.

• Gregg will design the flight pattern. We won't be flying a crosswind entry.
• We don't plan to fly the parents this time due to concerns with the short field.

The EAA reports that they have registered nearly 965,000 Young Eagles. So they need to fly about 36,000 more kids by this December. So join us for a great time on the 20^th
