Youth Aviation Day May 3rd 2003

Chris Hallinan writes: As a reminder to all, WAPA is holding it's first annual Youth Aviation Day on Saturday, May 3rd 2003 (rain date, Saturday May 10th) at the Southbridge airport. We are seeking pilot-volunteers to conduct introductory flights under the EAA Young Eagle's banner, so pilots must be EAA members. At present, we have three confirmed pilots.

Pilots will be asked to fly a coordinated, pre-planned route, about a 15 minute flight with kids between the ages of 8-18 who are interested in flying. Of course, each pilot must have access to an airplane, as they will not be provided.

We need three or four more volunteers who can spend all or most of the Saturday helping to fuel the passion of flight in young aviators-to-be.

Please respond immediately if you are able to help out. You can send your response to Feedback@worcesterapa.org>
